NCTS XML Channel goes live

ABS trial of the NCTS XML Channel has been successful, therefore the feature is now live. All NCTS Customers who have registered for the Government Gateway have been activated and are now running NCTS using the XML Channel for messages. There have been several recent issues with the NCTS E-mail messaging system - whereas the XML Channel has been operating trouble-free - therefore ABS recommends all Traders to switch over.

From this point on, all Traders who register with the Government Gateway and inform ABS of the login credentials will be activated. Users will experience no visible changes but the underlying systems will provide a more reliable messaging protocol with fewer disruptions to service compared to the E-mail system currently in use.
